Public Sector Accounting

Description:

This class introduces students to the subject of accounting in governmental, not for profit and private sector organizations. A “user” approach is taken, but the class is presented from the standpoints of both users and authors of financial reports. No previous background in accounting is required but the class is challenging and provides a knowledge of the essential elements of accounting for professionals in the field of public administration.
