This course develops an understanding of the most-used methods of statistics including data analysis, probability theory, and inference. This course provides students with the statistical tools needed to perform basic descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing. A large portion of this course is devoted to regression analysis for policy-making. It requires some basic algebraic derivations.
