A Teaching Topic in Strategy and Structure

Applying an Implementation Lens

This topic deals with strategies for thinking about policy implementation, particularly from the perspective of risk. Students begin to think through the most important challenges associated with policy implementation, and consider how policy leaders deal with uncertainty and the possibility of unintended consequences. This topic explores different types of risk as well as mitigation strategies.
