A Teaching Topic in Communication

Communications: Getting the Message Out

This teaching topic examines the strategies that governments and other politicians use to communicate their desired message to the general public. This topic deals with the relationship between government officials and the media as well as specific public policy concepts including media framing and agenda setting.
