Political Economy

The study of the links between economic decision making and politics.

(Matt Ratto, Toronto, FIS1210)

The study of political economy is concerned with furthering our understanding of the relationship between the economic and political dimensions of life. In other words, it is concerned with the organization of economic production and consumption, how we pursue social objectives, and how these phenomena impact each other.
