Assumptional Analysis

Analysis that aims at developing a synthesis of the different assumptions that stakeholders have about an issue or problem

(Pal, 2006, p. 131)

Assumptional analysis involves canvassing the full range of solutions proposed for the issue or problem in order for them to be used to challenge the assumptions that underlie how the problem was defined.
